Most doctors don’t know what their practice could sell for. We deliver certified valuations and confidential brokerage services, so you know exactly what your practice is worth and sell it with confidence.
For most California physicians, the practice is the single largest asset they own — and the only one they’ve never had professionally appraised. Nechay Advisors exists to close that gap. Led by Alexey Nechay, CVA, we provide certified, USPAP-compliant appraisals of medical practices and ambulatory surgery centers, and full brokerage representation when it’s time to sell. With more than 500 valuations completed across 45+ specialties, we know what physician groups, hospital systems, private equity platforms, and FQHCs actually pay — and why two practices with identical revenue can sell for very different prices.
Whether you’re planning an exit, admitting a partner, responding to a PE offer, or facing a divorce or shareholder dispute, the process starts the same way: a defensible number you actually understand. Based in Newport Beach, serving physicians statewide.
Most doctors don’t know what their practice could sell for. We exist to change that, with certified valuations and one accountable advisor.

We have valued practices and surgery centers across 45+ medical specialties and 35+ states. You get conclusions grounded in real transaction data, not rules of thumb.
Certified appraisal, confidential marketing, buyer negotiation, and exit structuring under one roof. No handoff between an appraiser who doesn’t sell and a broker who doesn’t value.
We value and sell medical practices and ASCs exclusively. Not dental, not home health, not Main Street businesses. That focus means we understand your buyer pool, your payer dynamics, and how your specialty actually trades.
Certified appraisal, confidential marketing, negotiation, and closing — all under one roof, exclusively for medical practices and surgery centers.

A confidential conversation about your practice, your timeline, and the purpose of the valuation. We scope the right report tier before you commit to anything.
We interview you and normalize your financials. Owner compensation, one-time expenses, and related-party leases all get restated. Typical turnaround: 1–2 weeks.
You receive a defensible, USPAP-compliant conclusion of value, walked through line by line. The report is documented to withstand scrutiny from a buyer, a court, a partner, or a lender.
Headline multiples mislead. A “practice sold for 6x EBITDA” tells you almost nothing until you know whose EBITDA, normalized how, for what level of interest, under what deal structure. We apply all three valuation approaches — asset, market, and income — and reconcile them into a single supportable conclusion. That rigor is the difference between a number a buyer respects and one they dismantle in diligence.

It depends on the purpose. We offer three tiers: hourly consulting (ideal for a second opinion on a PE offer), a Summary Report for exit planning and sales, and a Detailed Report, the gold standard required for divorce, shareholder disputes, and gift & estate tax filings. Summary Reports start at $3,950 and Detailed Reports at $7,500. We’ll recommend the right tier on a free discovery call so you never pay for more report than you need.
Most engagements run 1–2 weeks from the time we receive your financials. Expedited timelines are possible — several clients have come to us under court or deal deadlines and we delivered on time.
Sophisticated buyers price practices on normalized EBITDA, not collections. Two practices with identical revenue can differ in value by 2x or more once owner compensation, one-time expenses, and related-party agreements are adjusted. That normalization is the core of our work.

No. Every inquiry is strictly confidential. When we take a practice to market, buyers sign NDAs before learning the identity of the practice, and we control what information is released at each stage.
Both — deliberately. The valuation establishes a defensible price; the brokerage gets you paid that price. Keeping them under one roof means the person negotiating your sale is the same person who can defend every line of the number.
